Emocia.net is a digital service for creating and sharing personal digital cards and online gifts.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we keep Emocia cards private by design.

1. Data we collect
We collect only the data needed to provide, protect and improve Emocia.
User-provided data
When you create or use an Emocia card, you may provide:
- Card text
- Uploaded photos
- Selected designs, melodies and visual effects
- Email address, when purchasing, sending a card by email, contacting us or requesting support
Technical data
We may collect limited technical data, including:
- IP address, used for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting
- Browser and device information, used for debugging, abuse prevention and service improvement
- Basic usage events, used to understand and improve the product
Payment data
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record and payment provider.
Emocia does not store credit card numbers or full payment details on its own servers. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, billing and tax compliance.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to:
- Create, save and display your Emocia card
- Generate and deliver private card links
- Provide Premium features
- Send cards by Emocia email when you choose that option
- Process support and refund requests
- Protect the service from spam, abuse and automated activity
- Improve reliability, performance and user experience
- Comply with legal and payment obligations
3. Card privacy
Emocia cards are private by design.
- Cards are shared through a private, unlisted link.
- Cards are not publicly browsable on Emocia.net.
- Card pages are not intended to be indexed by search engines.
- Only people with the card link can open the card.
- You are responsible for who you share your card link with.
Please do not share a card link publicly if you want the card to remain private.
4. Free and Premium card retention
Free cards are temporary. A completed Free card remains available for 24 hours and cannot be opened, recovered or upgraded after it expires.
Completed Free cards become eligible for automatic deletion 7 days after completion. Deletion may include the card record and associated stored files.
Premium cards are kept permanently unless deletion is requested or required for security, abuse prevention or legal reasons.
5. Analytics and security
We use limited tools to understand and protect the service:
- Umami analytics for privacy-friendly traffic insights
- Microsoft Clarity only after analytics consent
- Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse protection
- IP-based rate limiting for security and anti-spam protection
Optional analytics are used only when allowed through the cookie/privacy banner.
6. Third-party services
Emocia may use trusted third-party services for hosting, payments, analytics, security, email delivery and file storage.
These services are used only to operate and improve Emocia.
We do not sell your personal data.
7. Your rights
You can contact us to request:
- Access to your data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your card or account-related data
- Help with privacy questions

8. Children
Emocia is not intended for children under the age required to use online services in their country.
